Forum: GratefulDead Subject: The Cliff troll

The smug, self-righteous, gets easily pissed off, thinks posting in the third person singular by dint of using "Cliff" in place of "I" is clever troll. The one who feels he is in conTroll because of his longevity on the board and/or because he thinks he is more knowledgeable than the rest of us trolls. He post shows ad nauseum, but usually has little more to say about said shows than "Cliff likes this one." The righteous troll who complains and whines about all the other trolls. The can't leave it alone troll.

The ultimate bullshit asshole troll. The sniff my fart troll.

And there you have it.

Troll on, dude! Jesus loves ya!

Forum: GratefulDead Subject: A good show to keep the Forumites from getting angry

I wanted to say something nasty to support Cliff, but remembering the previous responses to this guy, I will change the subject.

Interesting show to listen to:
http://www.archive.org/details/gd88-04-30.matrix.lemon2.4664.sbeok.shnf
4-30-88 Frost Amphitheater

Let The Good Times Roll-> Feel Like A Stranger, Row Jimmy, Walkin' Blues, Hey Pocky Way, Ramble On Rose, Let It Grow Shakedown Street-> Women Are Smarter, Ship of Fools-> Playin' In The Band-> Drums-> Jam-> Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad-> All Along The Watchtower-> Black Peter-> Sugar Magnolia, E:China Cat Sunflower-> E:I Know You Rider-> E: One More Saturday Night

Notice anything intersting? (hint: look at the Encores)

It's a decent 80s show, but it's neat for its novelty. I can't even imagine what it must have been like to hear the first notes of China Cat for the encore! It also features a lot of interesting transitions, particularly the Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad-> All Along The Watchtower-> Black Peter-> Sugar Magnolia.

Enjoy! Unless you are Cliff or Tell, who I've got nothing for, because all the recent 60s shows I've heard have been reccommended by one or the other.

interesting indeed. Folks say the sugar mag has some sound issues so the band makes up for it with the encore
